On Thursday, November 13, 2008, the Reading Club went on a field trip to the Marion E. Wade Center in Wheaton, Illinois. We were given a presentation on the lives of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, and got to see many artifacts, such as the Wardrobe that belonged to Lewis, and the desk Tolkien used while writing the Lord of the Rings. We then ate lunch at Pizza Hut and returned to school; the trip was enjoyed by all.
